If you have been wondering why no new posts, it's because I have been flat out with the organisation of World Party - a free, not for profit food fair and concert to be held at the City Hall Hobart on Saturday 16 October to celebrate the global flavours and sounds of Hobart. Rock against intolerance. Love to see you there.
It was fantastic. I cannot praise your efforts too highly - I found it an utterly magical experience and was pleased to see it so well attended. All kinds of music and great food, but more importantly it was just wonderful to see people from everywhere all having fun together in such a friendly atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who contributed and especially to you for organising it all. Well done!

Marc Bester has taken about 300 photographs of the food and I am going to collaborate with him on a blog post soon. Also glad to see you blogged the Thai Festival today.
